JAMES KOCHALKA is a cartoonist and songwriter from Burlington, VT. His comics have won four Ignatz Awards, the Harvey Award, and the Eisner Award. Notable works include the Johnny Boo book series for children and his daily diary comic strip American Elf. In 2011 he was named the first Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont.
